This is allegro 5 .org, but some people still use the older branch and there is nobody providing binaries of the 4.4 branch that I know of. So I'm posting some 4.4.0 MSVC binaries here, and I will post MinGW binaries and future releases if there is demand. Enjoy! |

Some of you may have come across problems with the 4.9.16 MinGW binaries. It was brought to my attention on IRC that these new static builds require the official MinGW 4.4 gcc/g++ compilers. tdragon or older MinGW compilers will not work.
Edit: It has been confirmed that 4.4 tdragon compilers will work so long as they use dwarf2 exception unwinding. |

4.9.16 binaries for MinGW are now available. This time they're static linked and only the dependancies needed to build Allegro programs (not Allegro itself) are included. DirectX is also not included but available as a separate download in the download section. MSVC binaries will come soon too. |
